Heber Cabin

We are so grateful to have this beautiful property. It is about 25 acres in the North Fields in Heber City, Utah. There are mountains and streams, fields and cattle all around us.

Photo Albums of JAMS Events at Heber Cabin

Some of the many improvements JAMS have made on the property include —
(1)  making the fields close to the house grass (not hay) and fencing those in
(2)  adding a pond that circulates water from the Provo River that runs across the property
(3)  stocking the pond with trout and making a beautiful sandy beach
(4)  adding a sturdy bridge across the stream and a playset on the ‘island’ area
(5)  making a riding ring (but it is now nearly grown over as we don’t have horse riders)
(6)  converting the 3-car garage to a family room
(7)  adding 2 bathrooms with 4 toilets and 4 showers
(8)  converting the main hall closet to a shower
(9)  adding beds, cots, futons and other items to comfortably sleep 30+
(10) adding to the back porch so there’s an entry near the kitchen
(11) remodeling the kitchen to function for large groups (without changing walls) by
moving the refrigerator into space that was the washer/dryer room
moving the range and oven away from the center island
adding cabinets that match existing cabinets
(12) creating kitchen tables and seating designed for the 5 JAMS families
(13) adding a grill on the porch and outside tables for good weather cooking/eating
(14) having a pool table, ping pong table, air hockey table for inside play
(15) having a large rocking horse, a play kitchen and other things for younger kids
(16) having large screen projection TV, internet and Slingbox
(17) having a badminton net and basketball hoop for outside play

When staying at the JAMS Heber Cabin, please find important information for your stay in the Heber Cabin notebook.

OUR HEBER CABIN RULES:

(1) No coffee, tea, tobacco, alcohol or drugs on the property.
(2) Do not take the sheets off the bed where they are. If you find you must strip the bed, please leave the dirty sheets in a bundle on the same bed. If you have to wash the sheets (we hope you will not wash the sheets), please put them back on the same bed where they were.
(3) Bring what you need and take everything home. Please do not leave things you bring such as condiments (ketchup, mustard, etc.) or paper goods (napkins, paper plates, etc.) or anything else. Take everything you bring with you when you leave.
(4) If anything breaks (and something does when there are lots of folks around), please don’t worry and don’t try to fix it. Please just make a note and let us know. We appreciate that a lot.

(5) Please make a list of any staples/supplies that need to be re-ordered, but do not replace supplies with other brands, sizes, etc.
